I am petitioning for aid with a deeply personal and urgent issue. I am eager to broaden my education by enrolling in an Alison online course, which I believe will provide me the opportunity to progress in my career, support my family, and contribute more significantly to society. My aspirations, however, are halted by the lack of a MasterCard to pay for my certification and I need your assistance.

As per reports from the World Bank, "billions of adults worldwide lack access to the types of formal financial services delivered by regulated financial institutions" (World Bank, 2021). An individual's inability to access these financial services should not serve as a barrier to their pursuit of education.

I am calling on educational institutions and payment processors to recognize this financial disparity and establish alternative payment solutions. This will not only support my personal educational pursuits, but also those of others in a similar situation, increasing access to education for everyone, irrespective of their financial capabilities.
