The Glen Rock Recreation Board wants to add a new community garden to the Glen Rock Park. We feel that a community garden would beautify our park, allow new gardeners to learn from their neighbors and allow residents without access to garden space to share our lovely sunny spot.

Board members are working on fundraising with the Bark for the Park on September 17th through raffle ticket and merchandise sales.

We are also working on applying for grant funding. Community support is a major factor in grant awards and signing this petition is a free and easy way to show your support for a project that will beautify and enrich Glen Rock, PA.

The community garden will have space for 15 compost-amended plots with mulched walkways, fence to prevent wildlife pressure and shared hand tools. The first year will also feature a monthly educational event that will teach new and experienced gardeners about how to care for the plants in their plots.
