My personal journey has been a testament to the resilience and miraculous intervention that can emerge from faith and determination. For seven terrifying months, as I lay misdiagnosed and battling a mysterious illness in one hospital after another, I was labeled as irrational rather than truly understood. It took perseverance and divine guidance to finally find the right medical team who diagnosed my cancer and helped me begin the path to recovery. After 5 failed hospitals, God gave me a vision of where to go and truly saved me. This experience has ignited a deep sense of empathy and resolve within me to support those marginalized by injustice.

This brings me to my dear friend, a brave and devoted mother who is currently trapped in an unjust custody battle. Her children were unlawfully taken from her by their father, a man who exploits his position as a police officer to manipulate the legal system to his advantage, creating an uphill battle for her merely because of his professional authority. Despite these crushing setbacks, my friend remains a beacon of strength and hope, drawing inspiration from her own past tribulations. Once a victim of human trafficking (the father also charged her $17,000 in child support while she was trafficked,)  she has courageously transformed her suffering into a drive to make real, positive change through advocating for women’s rights and empowerment.
