Its pretty simple.

We live in a country that promotes TOLERANCE and the right to CHOOSE.

The argument against a McDonald's on Phillip Island may have 3000 vote, but how many of those people have ever had a perilously sick child? And needed the wonderful support of Ronald McDonald House? How many of those 3000 have a special needs child/sibling/friend or family member, desperate for a break into the workforce? Or how many if those 3000, haven't seen the glee on a child opening their first McHappy Meal.

There is unhealthy choices at every corner, we have the choice to buy or not buy.

We have no right to stop a business offering their se4vices as long as they aren't breaking any laws. We also are not going to stop buying our favourite local pizza, just because a McDonald's is down the road.

This fear and desire people have to control others ..all under this fake veil of "looking out for them" is testimony to the Nanny mentality we are being forced fed.

I for one, am sick of it. People have a right to make their own choices.
