An undercover investigation has just exposed hellish conditions inside a German chicken farm linked to a supplier of Lidl in Germany.
The footage documents a waking nightmare. Chickens crawling on the floor in severe pain, workers kicking and throwing birds, their bodies left to rot in the shed. It’s hard to watch.
What makes me really furious is that this isn’t a one-off.
Lidl is systemically abusing millions of chickens across Europe.
There have now been six investigations in five countries, including the UK. The simple truth is that Lidl subjects its chickens to the same living hell in all these countries.
