 COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia teen is being sentenced to five years in prison for stealing a pair of shoes.
The Ledger-Enquirer reports that Dayonn Davis was charged as an adult despite being 15 at the time. 

Defense attorney Susan Henderson says Davis lacked a juvenile record and is "extremely remorseful."
But Superior Court Judge Bobby Peters said Davis took the shoes and must do the time.

Is it Fair to spend 5  years in jail for stealing one paid of 100 dollar Nike shoes 3 years ago?
