Angelica Alaniz started this petition to SuperSalud Superintendencia de Salud Colombia
Alejandra Monocuco was a trans black woman who died due to racism and transphobia in Bogota, Colombia. Medical services were called to treat her, as she had HIV, and once officials were notified she was positive, they refused to help her. She was left to die and officials didn’t come to remove her body until 15 hours after she passed. She was a sex worker who was also infected from COVID-19, and no tests were given to her roommates and the authorities did not disinfect the area, putting others at risk. Please sign to bring justice to Alejandra. Black trans people need to be protected. Sex workers need to be protected.
