In her State of the State address, New York State Governor Hochul advanced a proposal to break up SUNY Polytechnic Institute by handing the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) to SUNY Albany. 

The notion of stripping Oneida County and our region of SUNY Polytechnic Institute, a world-class research institution, and the only one in our region, is an insult to students, professors, companies, and the organizations that have become invested in its spectacular success.

Oneida County is asking that you sign this petition so that together, we can tell Albany and Governor Hochul that we will not stand to have our community's growth and development be stifled once again by downstate and Albany interests.
