Professor David Norman has been one of the most beneficial and impactful professors at Fredonia. I personally have never met a nicer, funnier, and more caring professor. He has brought so much light to the PR department and his announcement to leave has saddened so many. This spring semester was meant to be his final semester with his students.

Due to the Coronavirus, Professor Norman has asked Fredonia to stay another semester and have the final semester that he hoped for, but the school has yet to accept his offer. This petition is to show SUNY Fredonia the need for this professor on campus, especially in a department with so little professors. Once Norman leaves anyone within the major will be lacking with the professors they need to get the education they pay for.

SUNY Fredonia already has a minimal amount of professors within the PR department. Without Norman, most of the slack falls on Professor Oloke, who will be gone on maternity leave, putting the future of who is teaching these courses into question. The need for Norman is dire and the students here have already connected and accepted him. 

For the good of the major and the school, please sign this petition to help give David Norman the last semester he deserves at SUNY Fredonia.
