HELP US MAKE A CHANGE TO WILD PEST BAITING ON OUR BEACHES... KILLING OUR PETS

Recently, we lost a well loved family member, Stellar, who suffered a horrific death from eating a wild pest bait (1080) within a dog designated beach area.

We would like your support for changes to be made to current state and regional, regulations, policies and procedures for wild pest baiting on our beaches!

Currently, federal, state, and regional guidelines for wild pest management policy and procedures, is too broad and more so in relation to rural areas.

There are no distinctive boundaries, guidelines, plans or procedures, for use of wild pest baits on our beaches. We find it crucial that this can be implemented into an offical environmental management plan.

As improper management of baits on beaches, not only killed our beloved pet but is also a threat to our native wild life that love meat like turtles, eagles, birds & according to research even crabs!
