The sun country health region Has now closed the Kenosee superslides, stating that the slides are to dangerous for public use. The claims are unfounded and are the opinion of one individual with no actual data used to back up this theory. Staff work long hard hours keeping up the slides to avoid injuries and keep people safe. The slides are not only a water park, local businesses count on the tourism to bring money into the area. Thousands of people come every year and now those businesses have had those tourism dollars cut off.
