Please sign this petition to request that the Summit NJ Board of Education and Mr. Scott Hough, Superintendent of Schools, provide transparency by gathering and explicitly communicating the prerequisites that must be met to attain full day, full week, in-person learning for those that choose it.  We ask that these prerequisites be discussed and reviewed publicly at the March 11, 2021 BOE meeting or sooner at a special meeting. These prerequisites must include any items from any stakeholders that are preventing the full reopening of public K-12 education in Summit.  This will enable parents, teachers, administrators, and others to find solutions specifically targeted at addressing each impediment. This information is required urgently to end the ambiguity that significantly increases the risk of unnecessary delays in getting our kids back to school.
