Tomorrow (Wednesday, December 18th at 4PM) the Summit County Council is poised to approve zoning changes that would allow a huge new high-density, mixed-use residential development at Kimball Junction. This is despite of years of opposition from the community and nobody on County Council having been able to articulate how this new development helps anyone in our community (besides the developer Dakota Pacific who will make millions!).

We need just two “No” votes to trigger a public referendum. Your presence—physical or virtual—helps reinforce our long-standing opposition and will hopefully sway some County Council members that care about their reputation and legacy to say no to this unnecessary new monster development which will make the already terrible traffic situation on SR-224 even worse.
