Since 2012, when Born of Osiris kicked out Jason Richardson and decided to continue with only Lee McKinney on guitar their sound has suffered greatly, mainly due to Lee's inability to play leads, especially the ones from The Discovery. I wrote up this petition so as to hopefully convince Sumerian Records to force Born of Osiris to hire a lead guitarist because honestly i'm sick of this band going down the tubes to the extent that they have. Like have you heard Throw Me in The Jungle? It's more or less just a dumbed down version of Machine which was already a dumbed down version of their sound as it is and i fear for their future releases to follow suit. So please, if you care about Progressive Metal being actually you know progressive and being able to see a band without having to listen to the lead guitar parts being back tracked while the only guitarist on stage is more or less just a living breakdown machine then please sign this and hopefully we can make a change.
