In recent weeks our school has experienced rumour after rumour that they were going to be harmed at school. Causing fear and anxiety for the students and their parents. I believe that if metal detectors were installed at the entry doors this would relieve that fear. As many school shooting's that have occurred across the country it is a real fear for our students to have. With one SRO officer to protect our children it sure would make his job a lot easier if he knew that there were no knives or guns being brought into the school. I believe this change could benefit the children of Sullivan Central High School and the other area high schools as well.
