Investigate PT Toba Pulp Lestari's waste management in Parbulu

My younger sister, Manurung Siagian, has a skin disease. This is because of the contamination of the production waste from PT Toba Pulp Lestari which flows to our village, Parbulu Village. The waste can also pollute Lake Toba, which has been the pride of Indonesia and the people of North Sumatra.
The skin disease on Mrs Manurung Boru Siagian's feet and hands was not getting better. She have been to the hospital many times, but have not recovered yet.
It feels hot and itchy!
Initially, Mrs Manurung Boru Siagian only washed his feet in a ditch, because his feet and hands were hit with mud. But it turns out that the ditch that passes through his rice fields is the PT TPL waste disposal line.
Not only resulting in skin disease. The rice fields and groundwater of the Parbulu people have also been damaged by PT TPL waste. Solid waste, and air pollution pollutes the Parbulu environment.
In the past, residents could still drink from their well water. Well now it's bad. People have to buy water for consumption.
Because the water level in Parbulu is not suitable for consumption. The acidity is now at PH 5.2 - 5.5. Even though normally it is at PH 7.
Apart from the waste problem, PT TPL has also used the 20 hectares of land our ancestors had since 1890. They also never paid for the crops that were promised before.
That's why we Parbulu residents ask PT TPL to improve their waste management in Tapanuli.
Because of this bad waste management, Tapanuli residents are affected. If this continues, the environment in this beautiful Tapanuli could be damaged. And our children and grandchildren will not be able to enjoy its beauty.
