Since the unfortunate passing of original vocalist, Mitch Lucker, the group has picked up a new frontman, Eddie Hermida. After picking up Eddie, the band's sound has significantly changed. This petition is to sway them to change the band's name, out of respect for Mitch, in a style that Sublime changed theirs after picking up a new frontman. Suggested names are "Suicide Silence with Eddie" or "Eddie Hermida and the band formerly known as Suicide Silence". As well, upon name change, we request that the group rerelease all work featuring Mr. Hermida under the new name, as not to tarnish the history that Mitch Lucker helped to cement.
