Open up the West Hills Dog park and other Suffolk County parks in NY during the pandemic

The Issue

West Hills Dog Park, as well as Blydenburgh and Gardiners parks were closed today, and I'm sure many others. These are large outdoor areas where dogs are free to socialize and play off leash, and are large enough for owners to gather while maintaining a 6 foot distance from others during this Corona virus pandemic. Closing these parks is a TERRIBLE decision during this stressful time as it allows dogs and their owners a healthy and safe outlet to relieve stress, be outdoors and get some exercise. NOW MORE THAN EVER we need this space and outlet for relieving stress and anxiety, not just for our beloved dogs but for ourselves too.  It is a ridiculous over reaction to close these outdoor dog parks that provide a much needed outlet for stress for dogs and their owners during this horrible time. PLEASE RECONSIDER and open our parks back up.
