Please join me in asking Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Highways to renovate the Bailey Bridge between Walberswick and Southwold before or after the critical holiday period (the school holidays of July and August 2021). Holiday makers and locals alike benefit greatly from the ability to walk between the two locations across our wonderful marshes. For many holidaymakers this is a cherished experience and one they return to year after year. Making Walberswick and Southwold accessible by foot across the River Blyth this summer is a vital step towards helping our all of our valued local businesses recover from the long term negative effects of the Covid-19 crisis.
