Get the DfE to allow Sandye Place Academy to extend their age range to take up to age 16

We want the children of Sandy Bedfordshire to have the choice between two schools to continue their secondary education.  At the moment we have one upper school and many pupils and parents are looking for upper schools out of the town.  If Sandye Place Academy could extend their age range like many of us wanted then there would be the choice of two schools in Sandy meaning less people would be likely to look at schools elsewhere and keep their education in Sandy, which in turn would help a lot of families who are currently having to or going to have to pay for bus fares to other schools.

Please sign the petition so we can see if we can get the DfE to have another look at their decision now that we have made our feelings very clear that there are a number of us that would like the academy to extend their age range to take up to age 16.
