LGBTQ+ community should be accepted and celebrate in Malaysia
People desire to be loved. People need hope. People need to be proud of their sexual orientation.
The LGBTQ+ community should be openly accepted in Malaysia because LOVE shouldn't be interrupted by someone accusing you cannot be who you are and can't have intercourse with your partner although you have reached the age over 21 years old.
Hence, there have been some cases in Malaysia that obeying human rights and being homophobic towards the community. People who are in the LGBTQ+ community had been beaten up, arrested and being punished. In earlier March 2019, The Tourism Minister of Malaysia, Mohammaddin bin Ketapi represented the 'Non-existing of LGBTQ+ community in Malaysia' statement at the ITB Berlin tourism expo. This statement had been offended by the LGBTQ+ community and been gaining lots of attention to the public. However, it shows that the LGBTQ+ community was not completely protected by the government of Malaysia.
The department of Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM) and Muslim Lawyers Association of Malaysia please help with this issue in Malaysia RIGHT NOW. People should cherish their own freedom and love. This issue should not be forced to be banned and be ignored.
Therefore, if the traditional mindset and the law in Malaysia could be thrown away. No matter what races and sexual orientation you are, the love will be spread and be celebrated.
