Elections Canada has invited 5 federal party leaders to the election debates excluding Peoples Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier. Maxime participated in the last elections debates. In order to be invited to the debate you must: 

-be represented in the House of Commons by at least one MP elected under the party banner on the date the election is called
- won at least four per cent of the national vote in the 2019 election
-must show they receive at least four per cent national support, five days after the election is called as measured by public polling, using an average of leading national public opinion polling organizations 

In multiple polls PPC has polled above or just under 4%: Abacus, Angus Reid, EKOS, Forum Research, Mainstreet Research. They have also polled above or tied the Green Party and The Bloc Quebecois who were allowed in the debates. 

Maxime should at least be allowed in one of the debates to voice his opinion that in the last election over 300 thousand Canadians agreed with.
