So you know how they're people who say we're on our phones too much, and it's like our phones are in our faces. It is kind of like Edmond North High School is saying we're banning you from using your phone in class, but making you forced to look at a Chromebook all day long. My eyes are strained when I go home and we I go to get on the bus the sun blinds me, because it isn't as bright inside as it is outside the school and when I go home I have to do homework on the Chromebook and just strain my eyes more. Also many of the students at Edmond North have to deal with the same problem I do. When you are done with your work from that class and don't have any other work from a different class, you wish you could play on your phone, but you play games on your Chromebook because you can't have your phone out. I remember back when I was a Freshman and I could use my phone and I used it to search websites that were blocked that don't need to be blocked. It's like the picture I'm doing some research in English for an Essay and this site is blocked and it doesn't need to be blocked. All I'm trying to say is that the school is forcing us to make us have a habit of staring at our screens all day. I was born like a lot of people into the 20th century or born into technology and we don't know what it was like before technology, but we do know about phone books, rotary dial phones, and phones that used to be connected to the wall; but we didn't have to deal with all of this. Even with this I still like technology a lot and think it's really cool that it's improving every day. You can comment your opinions about my post, down below and please share this with other people, that don't like this phone ban; they don't even have to go to this school.
