Pray for God to Transform Our Students, Our Schools, and Our Nation!

God Bless America or God Less America?

INVITING JESUS CHRIST INTO OUR SCHOOLS

With millions of students returning back to school this week, let’s join together in prayer. There are so many things that are coming against students and it’s time for our children, teachers, and parents to use the power that we possess. Prayer is a powerful and effective weapon! It’s about time that we teach our students how to use it.

Students have to endure bullying, peer pressure, gun violence and school shootings, gang rape, self-esteem issues, mental disorders, rejection, disappointments, and temptations like sex, drinking, and drugs plus a number of other negative forces. Not to mention the increase in social media has greatly magnified these things. With all of these dangerous influences, students are expected to keep up good grades. If these pressures are not properly handled they will have long term, if not deadly, consequences for our children. Youth suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among young people ages 10-24, according to CDC.gov. Something must be done now to help this generation. We can either be “politically correct,” idly sitting by watching our students suffer or we can rise up and urge our children to start praying on a regular basis with their classmates.

Over 50 years ago, U.S. Supreme Court ruled that government-endorsed prayer in public schools is unconstitutional. But, the preambles to all 50 state constitutions originally acknowledged God; so why have we fought to remove His presence from our schools and our country? It’s time for students all over the country to stand up and pray for God to intervene and heal our land. Do you want a godless America or do you want God to bless America?

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. ~James 4:8

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16
