Our teachers are the backbone of our education, and who dedicate countless hours to help us learn, grow, and succeed. Yet, despite their hard work, many are underpaid and struggling to make ends meet. This situation not only affects teachers, but students and our community

We the students of Liberty, Freedom, Heritage, La Paloma, and Independence High Schools are asking the district to approve fair pay increases for our teachers, ensuring they are compensated in a way which reflects their endless dedication, expertise, and impact. Proper use of public funds should prioritize those who educate our future, and thus the quality of education and student-teacher morale.
