Students say NO to splitting Keller ISD
The Issue
Student-led, student-signed.
The KISD school board wants to split the district into two entities - Keller ISD, containing the KHS feeder pattern, and Alliance ISD, containing the rest.
This split would cost the district money (setting up new districts is expensive, and although the new KISD would gain funds [as new districts get grants] the new Alliance ISD would be hobbled) and split apart students.
It would also eliminate the use of KCAL and the athletic complex for the new Alliance ISD.
The results of this petition will be used in the January 30th board meeting. Please sign with your name, if you’re willing.
