On September 20, young people around the world will participate in a Global Climate Strike, and in Portland, specifically, we will be demanding an Oregon Green New deal and end to fossil fuel use. We, the students of Pacific Northwest College of Art, demand that PNCA

1. Close its doors on Friday, September 20, compensating faculty and staff as usual

2. Publicly announce an endorsement of the Global Climate Strike in solidarity with young people everywhere and unwavering support for climate justice

This petition is for the students of PNCA to come together and voice an opinion in support of this climate initiative. Please sign to demand the PNCA strike with us and endorses the Global Climate Strike.
