Our student elections have been inflicted with numerous problems such as caste, money, muscle power, baba culture, lobbies, etc. Ultimately, we are made to choose the least worst. If we have a Presidential debate, we will get to know who the candidates really are, what they stand for, and most importantly: do they deserve our vote? 

A debate of this nature will also help build a culture of transparency in the student body elections of our faculty. It's startling that elections debates doesn't take place in a law school in one of the most premier Universities of the Country. Let's, therefore, pledge to be the harbingers of change.
