At Dallas Lutheran, the faculty gives girls a hard time about dress code, but most of the time they only tell the boys to pull the hoods on their sweatshirts down, or to wear a correct school hoodie. We are outside a lot because our classrooms are portables, and it’s freezing outside. The girls cannot wear any kind of pants under their uniform skirts in cold weather except tights/leggings. That provides absolutely no warmth. It is in the 30/40s and we are required to wear skirts. It is completely understandable that wearing brightly colored pajama pants or crazy designed pants underneath, but gray or plain, neutral colored sweats should be just fine.
