Problem
Since 1998 Gleneagle has been the only school in SD43 district that disinclined the students rights to be able to wear hats freely. It’s student privilege to wear a hat but having the freedom in a secondary education institution

Solution
Together as students, parents, and as community we can allow our voice to be heard though a petition that will shed light to the greater goal to educate others they can feel safe to wear anything of their right

Personal story
I been attending Gleneagle since 2016. When I first took my step inside the school I knew I had achieved freedom. A person allowed to wear the appropriate clothing shirts, pants, shorts, shoes but not hats. I strongly see a feature for Gleneagle having the rule to wear hats as learning experience but a privilege to be given and I feel that this privilege has been token away without a reason and without the right one. We as student in secondary education should have the privilege to wear hats but learn the safety matters surrounding them to fulfill greater achievement with school admin
