As we have got a mail regarding the opening of the campus and having it in completely offline mode. This isn't the right step to take because of the following reasons:

1) The U.P government has decided to reopen the school and colleges from 7th February. But is It really necessary, what if the cases again get to the peak? Will they even suggest it on running offline?

2) If there is the practice of teaching online how can the students be giving exams offline. As all have possessed habit of having all thing online how can they quickly adapt to giving exams online.

3) U.P elections are coming up shortly, and in this situation with still having active corona cases around 1L+ in the country, would elections help in decreasing or increasing cases...!?

4) There are many internships and courses going alongside. How can we manage all of them at a time, and if it is offline then we're sure that the attendance system will be strictly imposed to avoid any irregularities.

5) With so many variants coming up, and already there is a warning of the 4th Covid wave by AIIMS and IIT Madras if the public isn't careful.

6) What if we even come to college and there is a +ve case among us. Wouldn't that be considerable...!? Or the university will be closed again too.

Looking upon all these reasons and many other reasons, I and many others don't think conducting offline mode would be safe.
