El Diamante has a football game with Golden West which is called "The Battle for the Saddle" in which whoever wins this match gets to have ownership of the saddle until the next Battle for the Saddle. The Battle for the Saddle game was supposed to happen, but was cancelled due to the Golden West football team falling ill due to COVID-19. The issue resulting from this is that even though this means Golden West has forfeit the match thus giving El Diamante the win, it does not mean El Diamante gets the saddle. We've created this petition to get people to sign off so our school gets the saddle which is rightfully ours.
