On July 6th, The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) announced modified temporary exemptions for nonimmigrant students taking online classes due to the pandemic for the fall 2020 semester. This may impact students receiving their education for Tufts, Harvard, Boston university and other institutions. We cannot allow this to impact the students, classmates, friends and just sit around. I urge institutions to create an in-person class that provides students with optional attendance. I beg that those reading this petition reach out to their institutions and demand something to be done. Please help me elevate their voices and demand change.
