Millions of dogs and cats are brutally killed for meat worldwide especially across Asia. The Health & Safety Institute (HSI) works all year in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and other countries to put an end to animal cruelty. 

In most countries, dogs are stolen pets or grabbed from the streets. Dog traders snatch animals from the streets, steal pets from backyards or buy them from owners. They are crowded on the backs of trucks for days, ill, hungry, thirsty, wounded, and scared, before being beaten to death or hanged in slaughterhouses or markets.

It is very crucial to raise awareness of the risks the dog meat industry poses to both human health and animal welfare, so let us put an end to the dog meat trade.
