After the Ontario Government gave the approval for school sports to resume, there has been a pause and sudden stop from the TVDSB school board regarding this issue. This issue won't go away and the board can't keep pushing the issue to the future rather than the present. It's been proven sports lead to improved academics, time management, leadership, physical health and wellness and much more than board claims they're committed to achieving. The schools are crowded in themselves. The hallways, the doors leading out of the school, the full-sized classrooms... those safety precautions seemed to have been thrown out the window, what changes now with sports? Is it because the board has to get insurance? Is it because it wouldn't bring in enough money? There's many questions that remain unanswered.... but we ask why no sports?
