2015 New York Mets World Series ticket pricing inflation.

2015 New York Mets World Series ticket pricing inflation.
The Issue
It's 2015 and the New York Mets are FINALLY back in the World Series! We have waited for this day for 15 years. Unfortunately, the DIE-HARD fans who have supported this team even at it's lowest points (2006-2009) will not get to enjoy the fruits.
The ticketing system is completely screwed up and caters to the 1% rather than the 99%. Firstly, in order to get first dibs on post season tickets locked down, you are forced to buy ticket plans throughout the year. Now, I have no problem with attending a handful of Mets games during the season. I usually attend about 30 home games a year and that's on a bad season... I know ticket brokers, Citifield employees, season ticket holders and charity/student organizations where I get the majority of my tickets all season long. Us DIE-HARD, core fans shouldn't necessarily be forced into purchasing a ticket plan in order to get fairly priced post season tickets. Especially since the post season is never guaranteed.
1) The first issue is the Mets need to stop pricing out their real fanbase. The people going to your games are not real fans. They are corporate bozos who talk about their work or business during the entire game while being a distraction to the fans around them. When our team is doing bad or halfway decent, the tickets are priced fairly and we all have a great time. In the event that our team is doing great, the prices inflate double or triple. It gets worse as the season goes on.
2a) Second issue is the ticket lotteries. These lotteries are a false hope and just an extension of the first issue at hand... by the time the postseason rolls around and we are lucky enough to be still playing, it's either randomly win a lottery or again, be forced into buying a ticket plan for NEXT SEASON. This boiled my blood this year. The Mets organization capitalizing off the success of this season to sell tickets for next season. Shame, shame. Now, I didn't look at the ticket plans but I would imagine there was an increase in price from 2015 to 2016 plans, solely because we are a World Series bound team at the moment. Not cool.
2b) This is where StubHub Inc. (and vividseats.com) come into play. There is no regulation on pricing for postseason tickets and there is no rule where if the tickets drop 50% you receive a partial refund. I purchased a Standing Room Only ticket to the NLCS the night the Mets clinched against the Dodgers. I paid $240 after Stubhub fees only to find out that the day of the game the price had dropped to $120 after fees. I was shit out of luck and it was a mean trick. There should be a clause set in place where if you pay top dollar for a ticket to an event and that same ticket drops 50% the day of the event, you should receive a refund of the difference.
3) Which brings me to the final issue at hand; it's impossible for the average joe, die-hard Mets fan, Queens resident to attend any of these World Series games that we've patiently waited so long for. Games that we deserve. If you don't have the money to buy a ticket plan during the year, if you don't win a ticket lottery, if you don't have the money to buy a ticket plan for NEXT SEASON, you are forced to go to Stubhub Inc. and really get creamed. At that point, if we couldn't afford the ticket plans how on earth could we afford a $1200 ticket off StubHub?
Why isn't there a regulation on the ticket prices sold on StubHub? How are there SO many tickets available on StubHub? Why can't these tickets be released to REAL FANS? Why is it so hard to be able to obtain tickets? Why must I be forced to win a ticket lottery or purchase a ticket plan when I already attend games all season long?
As real Mets fans, die-hards and loyalists, let's be HEARD. We want to attend the World Series and get behind our team! We are the reason they made it this far! Don't price us out! Don't alienate us! Let's get our voices heard by WHOEVER can make the proper changes with the way Mets tickets are sold, priced and RE-SOLD. We have less than a week to gather as many signatures as possible in hopes that there will be some sort of regulation on these World Series tickets so that we can all go.
