The Port Townsend skatepark needs lights. During the winter and fall it gets dark very fast and for people who have school and or work it makes it impossible to go to the park in the daylight. Not to mention it’s a safety hazard. I’m proposing that there be lights installed in the park. All the skaters would benefit from this. Hopefully the city can put effort into getting this done! The skatepark is loved by so many people. During covid it’s been a great place for kids to learn new skills and have fun outside. Skating is a big part of our community in Port Townsend. Let’s make it safer and even more loved!
