Rajas Kulkarni started this petition to Animal Welfare Board of India (Chairman)

Siddesh Patel, a twisted and sadistic man from Mira Road, Mumbai set 3 kittens on fire by placing them in a burning carton. This monster said he did it for ‘fun’ and is now out on bail.

Puppies being bludgeoned, animals being burnt alive, dogs and cats being flung from high-rise buildings, pets being abandoned... The incidents of animal abuse are on the rise and yet precious little has been done to protect animal rights.

Cruelty to animals has become routine and people get away with it because the fines are paltry and there is minimal to zero jail time. The perpetrators get away with impunity because their victims have no voice. We need to change that. We have to change that. We need strict punishments and heavy fines for animal abuse. Persons guilty of animal abuse need to be identified, shamed and severely punished.

We need to be the voice of the voiceless. We need to protect animal rights. We need to make the world a safer place for animals.
