첫째, 가해자의 재범을 막기 위해 형량을 강화해야 합니다. 아동학대를 저지르는 사람들은 대개 재범의 가능성이 높습니다. 이러한 가해자들이 다시는 아이들에게 해를 끼치지 못하도록 강력한 처벌이 필요합니다. 엄중한 처벌은 가해자에게 명확한 경고가 될 것이며, 잠재적 가해자들에게도 경각심을 줄 것입니다.

둘째, 약자인 아이들을 더욱 효과적으로 보호하기 위해 법률 체제를 개선해야 합니다. 특히 영유아는 스스로를 보호할 힘이 없고, 어른의 도움 없이는 학대 상황에서 벗어나기 어렵습니다. 이런 아이들을 보호하기 위해서는 더욱 세심하고 강력한 법적 보호가 필요합니다.

We must take action to ensure that children are safe and protected, and that their innocence is not violated.

First, penalties must be strengthened to prevent offenders from reoffending. Those who commit child abuse generally carry a high risk of recidivism. Strong punishment is necessary to ensure these offenders can never harm children again. Severe penalties will serve as a clear warning to offenders and raise awareness among potential perpetrators.
