What’s the longest you’ve had to wait for your landlord to repair something that broke where you live? How long have you spent searching rental listings for a place you can actually afford? The East Lansing Renters' Rights Coalition (ELRRC) is a group committed to defending and expanding the rights of renters in East Lansing. ELRRC aims to push East Lansing City Council to:

1. Adopt an ordinance that would give renters the right to seek repair services for issues in the property and withhold a portion of rent to pay for it.
2. Add a plain-language renters’ rights guide to the City of East Lansing website.
