I have known too many fellow Canadians who have been victimized, losing loved ones and their hard-earned money. I constantly receive scam phone calls, phishing emails, and unwanted canvassing at my door, and there are even attempts to breach the safety of my home. We can no longer stand idly by as these threats persist.

Canada is grappling with a rise in crime, including

• shootings,

• break-in’s,
• home invasions,
• fraud,
• extortion, 
• digital crimes.

These activities not only threaten our safety but also undermine the peace and security that defines our communities. It is crucial that we act now to protect Canadian citizens.
