The Issue

On December 12, 2025, Riziki llenre  known by many as Sincerelynaija on TikTok, tragically lost her battle with cyberbullying and took her own life during a livestream. In the days leading up to this tragic event, Rizzi endured relentless harassment from various creators on TikTok. They mocked her, they made fun of her disabilities, and in the deepest cruelty, they told her to kill herself. This relentless bullying and cyber attacks led to a devastating loss, not only for her family and friends but for all of us who witnessed another life taken too soon by such heartless acts. This petition seeks not only to seek justice for Rizzi but also to ensure that her death was not in vain. We need to hold cyberbullies accountable for their actions and work towards creating a safer and more respectful online environment. This can be achieved through the introduction and strengthening of anti-bullying laws, specifically, the creation of a new Anti-Bullying Act that addresses the unique and pervasive nature of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying has become an epidemic in the digital age. Statistics indicate that over 60% of teens have experienced some form of virtual harassment, and unfortunately, Rizzi has become a part of a concerning statistic of individuals who have resorted to taking their own lives after being bullied online. This is unacceptable, and it is a societal issue that requires immediate action. We propose that this new Anti-Bullying Act should include measures such as stricter penalties for cyberbullying, mandatory educational programs about the effects of bullying in schools, and systems for victims to report online harassment safely. Furthermore, technology companies must play a critical role in monitoring and controlling this harmful behavior on their platforms. Our goal is to prevent any more lives from being lost to cyberbullying. We believe that by enacting stronger legislation, we can create a world where individuals are not afraid to use social media, and where everyone can feel safe and valued online. Join us in this fight to bring justice for Rizzi and to ensure that the digital world becomes a kinder and more accepting place for everyone. Please sign this petition and stand with us in advocating for the creation of a new Anti-Bullying Act that effectively combats cyberbullying and protects those most vulnerable to this kind of abuse.
