Girl Scout Troop 30001 released a survey in late March targeting women's safety. One of the questions asked the female audience what they would want to see changed in order to feel safer. The most common result spread out through Broome County school districts was requesting more street lights. The two cities who mentioned this the most were Binghamton and Johnson City. This petition is designed to grant these women their safety by placing their desired bright streetlights throughout Binghamton and Johnson City. Our first priority would be near parks and playgrounds like Floral Ave.
