In Tunisia street animals endure lives filled with unimaginable hardship and brutality. Many street cats and dogs face daily abuse, such as being kicked, tortured, or driven away aggressively as they attempt to survive by finding minimal food, water, shade, and safe spots peacefully, just existing, trying to survive. This heart-wrenching reality extends beyond just the street animals; countless donkeys, camels, and horses suffer abuse as they are exploited for labor and tourism, often neglected without sufficient water, food, or shelter but bad and painful tack and no mercy. They are frequently found with their legs tied cruelly together in the pure sun for hours and subjected to abusive handling that leaves their bodies bleeding, beating, painful tack, overweight tourists no mercy. People like my dear friend in Tunesia are dedicated to making a difference. Every day, he rescues these suffering animals, provides them with medical attention, and leaves out water and food. It's a small beacon of hope amid a sea of adversity, and more of us should follow this compassionate lead. For those visiting Tunisia, a significant way to help is by simply putting out some water  bowls and food  or assisting local animal shelters during your stay.

And do not participate in tourist Entertainment with animals, especially if they don t stand in shade, you don t see a full water bucket or you even see animals bleeding, starving or being lame. Simply setting out a bowl of water and not screaming beating kicking away a resting peaceful animal. Additionally, implementing shelter and rescue operations can significantly reduce the number of street animals and improve the conditions for working animals.
