Thank you so much for the fantastic response so far. This is now more than a petition – it’s a community movement! It just goes to show the incredible strength of feeling in our neighbourhood about these issues.

I want to let you know that our delegation is due to be heard at the Planning and Heritage Sub-committee meeting on Thursday, so it’s vital that we continue the push before the meeting to get as many supporters as possible. Please continue to share the link with everyone you know and on any community forums and Facebook groups etc.

If you’re available to attend the meeting, it would be a valuable show of support. The meeting is on Thursday, February 27th at 4.30pm in the Council Chamber at City Hall.

I’ll be presenting the petition and asking council to consider additional binding protection within Stratford’s Heritage Area. Pat O’Rourke, Chair of Heritage Stratford will also be speaking.
