Thank you, Shasta County. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who gave of their time, talent, and treasure at our fundraiser. We had an amazing night filled with friends, faith, and good times. I cannot thank you enough for your continued support of faith, family, and freedom. We know our rights come from God, not government. We know that to form a more perfect Union, we must have a moral society. And we know we must stand up for the innocence of our children. The battle is not over. We still need to get out the vote on November 3. I need Michele Renee Tyson for Shasta County Board of Education, Area 1, and Teresa Roberts for Area 2 standing with me so we can keep a conservative majority on the Shasta County Board of Education. Together, we can end indoctrination and keep the focus on education. Statewide, about 51% of California students are not reading or comprehending at grade level. More than 60% are below standard in math and science. That is unacceptable. Here in Shasta County we have begun to change that through the work of the County Office of Education, and we intend to keep proving those results across the county. We will prepare our students to be among the best in the United States — ready to start businesses, enter the trades, join the military, or earn a college degree — and make Shasta County an even better place for families to live. Proverbs 22:6 states, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it".
