Continuing to play the game means being able to do nothing.
Disconnecting means receiving a temporary game ban.

Reporting a player, even if picked up by the report team for the game, will not stop them from logging on again or the next killer in your next game doing it too.

All take away your game, time, perhaps most important of all fun (often not just for the survivor).
