NORSK: Finansdepartementet i Norge er i sluttforhandlingene om en skatteavtale med Irans terrorregime. Det kommer fram i dokumenter Dagbladet har fått innsyn i som er nylig publisert offentlig.

Skatteavtaler inneholder som regel bestemmelser om informasjonsutveksling. Gjennom en slik avtale kan iranske myndigheter be norske skattemyndigheter om informasjon om norske skatteytere.

Finansdepartementet sier at målet med avtalen blant annet er å hindre skatteomgåelse og skatteunndragelse, samt hindre dobbeltbeskatning og dobbelt ikke-beskatning.

Finansdepartementet også hevder at utveksling av opplysninger for skatteformål er sikkert nok og norge staten ikke er forpliktet til å utveksle informasjon dersom den har grunn til å anta at dette vil stride mot allmenne interesser.

Norge har ingen garanti for at viktig informasjon da ikke deles videre til andre land som Iran hvor folkeopprør mot landets moralpoliti vekker oppsikt verden over. Informasjon fra store internprisingssaker som oljeselskapene er involvert i, kan potensielt havne i gale hender.

Norge må være klar over at Irans regimet hovedmål for å inngå en slik avtale er IKKE å unngå dobbeltbeskatning, men Irans regimet planlegger å få skatt fra alle iranere som jobber i utlandet for å fylle opp nasjonalbudsjettet, sterkt påvirket av internasjonale sanksjoner, for å økonomisk støtte terroraktiviteter i Midtøsten-regionen, blant dem, undertrykker sitt eget folk raseri og opprør mot regimet.

Det er absolutt ikke nok at Norges regjering har fordømt myndighetenes grove bruk av vold mot demonstranter, blant dem Mahsa Aminis tragiske død og iranske kvinners situasjon.

Vi trenger en ekte handling, ikke bare ord.

Derfor ønsker vi å be finansavdelingen om å slutte å inngå en så farlig og forferdelig avtale med Irans regimet dersom Norge virkelig og praktisk støtter internasjonale fordømmelser mot Irans regimet.

ENGLISH: The Ministry of Finance in Norway is in final negotiations on a tax agreement with Iran's terrorist regime. This is revealed in documents Dagbladet newspaper has been given access to which have recently been published publicly.

Tax treaties usually contain provisions on information exchange. Through such an agreement, the Iranian authorities can ask the Norwegian tax authorities for information about Norwegian taxpayers.

The Ministry of Finance says that the aim of the agreement is, among other things, to prevent tax avoidance and tax evasion, as well as to prevent double taxation and double non-taxation.

The Ministry of Finance also claims that the exchange of information for tax purposes is secure enough and the Norwegian state is not obliged to exchange information if it has reason to assume that this would be contrary to public interests.

Norway has no guarantee that important information will not be passed on to other countries such as Iran, where popular uprisings against the country's morality police are causing attention worldwide. Information from large transfer pricing cases in which the oil companies are involved could potentially end up in the wrong hands.

Norway must be aware that Iran's regime's main goal for entering into such an agreement is NOT to avoid double taxation, but Iran's regime plans to get taxes from all Iranians working abroad to fill up the national budget, heavily influenced by international sanctions, in order to economically supporting terrorist activities in the Middle East region, among them, suppressing their own people's rage and rebellion against the regime.

It is absolutely not enough that Norway government has condemned the authorities' gross use of violence against demonstrators, among them, Mahsa Amini's tragic death and to the situation of Iranian women.

 We need real action, not just words.

Therefore, we want to ask the finance department to stop entering into such a dangerous and terrible agreement with Iran's regime if Norway really and practically supports international condemnations against Iran's regime.
