Demand Justice for Our Children: Stop Corruption in Crook County Child Welfare & Protect De Facto Parents!

We, the undersigned, stand united to demand real justice, accountability, and reform within Crook County, Oregon, and the Oregon Department of Human Services–Child Welfare (ODHS).

We are fighting for the return of our children wrongfully removed, for the recognition of de facto parent rights, and for the end of systemic abuse, corruption, and cover-ups harming innocent families.

 

Our Story: Since March 30, 2022, our family has been ripped apart based on false statements, misrepresented records, and malicious prosecution.

Children who were safe, loved, and thriving were seized under a cloud of lies — despite our objections and despite Oregon law (ORS 418.010) that clearly prohibits removal over a parent’s objection when it is not necessary for the child's safety.

 

We have faced:

 

Denial of due process and basic constitutional rights.

 

Defamation of character and reputational harm through knowingly false statements.

 

Malicious prosecution and civil conspiracy by officials sworn to uphold justice.

 

The illegal unsealing of protected Florida DHS records without court order.

 

Violation of our First Amendment rights to speak, to petition, and to assemble for redress.

 

Emotional devastation, financial ruin, and three years of separation from the children we love and protected.

 

 

We have documented threats, perjured statements, and direct evidence of wrongdoing by named parties, including:

 

Judge Diana Vitolins

 

Katie Ortegis, Tammy White, Sarah Salas

 

Crook County Child Welfare

 

Crook County Sheriffs

 

Andrew Canche and other individuals whose false testimony led to our family’s destruction

 

 

What We Demand: ✅ Immediate return of our children to our care.

✅ Recognition of de facto parent status for those who have raised and loved children as their own.

✅ Accountability: resignation, discipline, or prosecution of officials and parties who abused their power.

✅ Monetary damages for the irreparable harm to our family — already estimated at over half a billion dollars.

✅ Reform in Crook County Child Welfare to end practices of coerced statements, fabricated claims, and retaliation against parents who speak out.

 

This is bigger than just one family.

Every child has the right to love, stability, and truth. Every parent — biological or de facto — has the constitutional right to protect and fight for their children. Every official has the duty to uphold justice, not sabotage it.

 

We refuse to be silenced.

We refuse to let another family suffer what we have.
