I want to get rid of these pouches. They cause countless problems for students. They are inconvenient and a waste of money. They are only beneficial for the teachers and we are the ones who have to be there. We can’t just leave like teachers and staff. We are the ones that have to deal with them and we should have more of a say in the matter.

There are much better ways to go about the phone problem than getting rid of them entirely. Teachers can come up with ways they think is best in their classrooms to handle the issue. Some teachers could incorporate it into their lessons and use phones for their benefit. Some may decide they don’t want them at all and make students put them away during class times.

Giving us pouches is not going to stop people from having their phones. Sending them to ISS when they get caught with them or even ECAP is not going to stop them either. Their are reasons we need them incase of an emergency of any sort. We shouldn’t be banned from having them just because it’s annoying at times. It’s more than wanted to text our friends because a lesson is boring. It’s about contacting our parents in the case of emergencies and so much more.
